2006 Phil Klipp Memorial Scholarship Award: $750

Ashley Suydam: In her senior year she received an "All-league" honorable mention award in field hockey, and was Captain of the softball team. In Basketball, she received an "All-League" honorable mention award. Her GPA was a 96.3. Scored an 1840 on the SATs with a Math score of 670.  After college she would like to pursue a career as a doctor or as a physical therapist.

2006 Alumni Association Scholarship Award: $5,000

Victoria Gagliardi: One of her strengths would have to be her dedication to community service. Served as President of the Youth Advisory Council. Victoria also teaches Sunday School at her local church. Played varsity field hockey in her Jr. and Sr. year and was selected for "All League" honors, she was  Captain in her senior year. She was also Captain of the softball team. Her goal is a career as a physical therapist.

2006 Ronald W. Lindemann Athletic Award: $2,500

Lance Thornton:Some of his sports activities include: All-League Coaches Award for Cross-Country and Captain in Sr. Yr.; Varsity Football All League Honorable Mention; Varsity Swimming; State quarters, All Westchester, MVP record holder. Varsity Winter Track: MVP and Captain. Varsity Spring Track; All League;  Coaches Award. Other accomplishments include: Honor Roll 9-12, Art Achievement Award, Physical Ed Achievement Award, President's Fitness Award. Lance plans to become a Graphics Designer in the Advertising World.

2006 Ronald W. Lindemann Athletic Award: $2,500

Daniel Bohm: A natural leader with strong intellectual interests as well as powerful analytical abilities. VP of the Student Body. Dan was also the Captain of the football team and was Honorable Mention All-League as a Jr. and All League and Honorable mention All-Section as a Senior. He also was Captain of the Baseball team and All-League as a Jr.

2005 Phil Klipp Memorial Scholarship Award

Hard work, academics and volunteer and community service come naturally to Kaitlyn Moore. She is attening the University of Kentucky. Her major willl be special education or early childhoo development.

2005 Alumni Association Scholarship Award

This scholarship is based on outstanding academic achievement plus exceptional accomlishment in some other area such as the creative or performing arts, science, and mathematics, athletics, or community or social service. We are proud to announce that the 2005 winner was Jaclyn B. Martin.

2005 Ronald W. Lindemann Scholarship Award

This 2005 winner of $3000 went to a truly outstanding student who put together a remarkable sports story at Hastings. Siobbhan Anne DePietro was chosen partially because of her outstanding list of sports achievement and volunteer and community service.

2004 Academic Award

Rear Admiral Ron Jesberg '53, on behalf of the Alumni Association and the HHS Class of '53, presented the Academic Scholarship to Brad Andrew Thornton. This scholarship is based on outstanding academic achievement plus exceptional accomplishment in some other area such as the creative or performing arts, science, and mathematics, athletics, or community or social service.

2004 Ronald W. Lindemann Athletic Award

The winner of this year's Ronald W. Lindemann Athletic Scholarship not only has a great athletic resume but also enviable academic achievement. She has superb time management skills in order to accomplish all that she has. The winner . . . Liana Sideli

2003: Academic Excellence in Science Scholarship

The $2500 scholarship award for Academic Excellence in Science was given to Sarah Chu, who made the year's choice substantially easier because of her high qualifications.

2003: Phil Klipp Memorial Scholarship

Phil Klipp, who graduated from Hastings High in 1946, was an extremely talented athlete as well as an outstanding individual. He was overwhelmingly selected with the first group of inductees into the Hastings Sports Hall of Fame at the Tarrytown Hilton on October 21, 2000. This scholarship was given by the Klipp family, the Class of 1946 and the HHS Alumni Association. Joe Flaherty was the recipient of this scholarship in the amount of $750. The award was presented at the Academic Awards Evening at the High School on June 25, 2003.

2002: Jaclyn Melillo Receives Athletic Scholarship

Your HHS Alumni Association Scholarship Committee proudly and unanimously selected Jaclyn Melillo to be the second recipient of our scholarship program.

2001: Brian Adler Selected for Music Scholarship

The first scholarship of $5000 was made to Brian Adler of the Class of 2001.
